TeacherActive is proud to be working with a highly regarded mainstream secondary school in Coventry that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Science for the new academic year. The school is looking to appoint a Teacher of Science on a full-time, long-term basis from September, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right Teacher of Science. The successful Teacher of Science will teach engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, deliver high-quality learning experiences, monitor student progress effectively and contribute positively to a collaborative and forward-thinking Science department.

The successful Teacher of Science will have:

• QTS with a Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
• The ability to teach engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive, enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for Science education
