TeacherActive is proud to be working with an outstanding secondary school in Essex that is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher. Renowned for its warm and welcoming environment, the school places a strong emphasis on academic excellence, student wellbeing, and supporting staff development at every stage of their career.
The school is looking to appoint a permanent Science Teacher from September on a full-time basis. The successful Science Teacher will deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, support student progress and attainment, and contribute positively to the wider school community. The school welcomes applications from both experienced Science Teachers and ECTs.
The successful Science Teacher will have:
• QTS or ECT status
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
• A positive, proactive and professional approach to teaching
