TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Sheffield that is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking to take on a Science Teacher on a full-time basis, starting ASAP. The successful Science Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver engaging Science lessons, demonstrate strong classroom management and support pupils to make excellent progress across the curriculum.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Science specialism (ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
