About the Role

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Swansea that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity to help students develop their scientific knowledge, practical skills and confidence across the curriculum, with immediate starts and a range of flexible working opportunities available.

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics in line with the curriculum.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress.
• Maintaining excellent classroom management.
• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.

What We're Looking For

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – NQTs are encouraged to apply!
• Experience teaching Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Welsh language skills (desirable, but not essential).
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
