Science Teacher – Stockport
Location: Stockport
Role: Science Teacher
Pay: £170 - £250 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-term
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Stockport from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to join a supportive school environment and make a real impact on pupils' learning and progress.
The Role
Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons
Supporting pupils to develop their scientific knowledge and understanding
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department
Requirements
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent subject knowledge
Passion for inspiring and motivating pupils
Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
