Secondary Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £90 - 105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a Secondary Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who can provide effective classroom and 1:1 support while helping students to engage positively with their learning.

The school is looking to take on a Secondary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day or long-term work, with an Immediate Start. The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will support students across KS3 and KS4, including providing 1:1 support for students with SEND and working alongside teaching staff to meet individual learning needs.

The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working with students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience providing 1:1 support to students with SEND
• Experience supporting learning within a secondary school environment
• Strong communication skills
• A patient, adaptable and positive approach
