Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Colchester
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £120 - £180 per day

Are you a graduate, UQT, ECT or QTS teacher looking to gain further experience within a secondary school?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Colchester that has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to gain valuable experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4.
The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor for an immediate start on a short-term contract. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils and reporting back to teaching staff following lessons.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• UQT, ECT or QTS status welcomed, with graduates also encouraged to apply
• Experience working with young people is desirable
• Strong classroom management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and positive approach to supporting pupils
