Salary: £95 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH school in Worcester, supporting their search for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where pupils are encouraged to develop both academically and emotionally, with a strong focus on positive behaviour support and building resilience.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis from September until November. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will support students aged 11-16 with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, working closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to help pupils engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working within an SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision
• Previous experience supporting children and young people with challenging behaviour
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential
