Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location: Wolverhampton
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £130 - £150 per day
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a strong background supporting pupils with complex needs?
Do you have the confidence and resilience to take responsibility for learning activities within a specialist SEND environment?
Are you passionate about helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND setting in Wolverhampton supporting pupils with complex needs. The setting provides a structured and supportive environment where pupils receive personalised support to help them develop their confidence, communication and independence.
The school is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support learning across the setting, lead activities where appropriate and work closely with teaching staff to provide consistent, individualised support for pupils with complex SEND needs.
The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:
HLTA qualification or relevant experience working at HLTA level
Experience working with children or young people with complex SEND
Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
Confidence leading learning activities and supporting classroom management
Strong communication and organisational skills
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
