Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £100 - £110 per day

The school is committed to helping every young person develop confidence, resilience and essential life skills through positive relationships and personalised support.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support to pupils with Autism / ASD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs / SEMH and complex needs, encouraging engagement with learning, promoting positive behaviour and developing communication, social and emotional skills.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience supporting children or young people with ASD, SEMH and complex needs
Experience providing 1:1 support in a specialist SEN setting
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people
