SEN English Teacher
Location: Oldbury
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £170 - £220 per day

Are you confident delivering English across KS2-KS4 while adapting learning to meet individual needs?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEN setting in Oldbury supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs. The setting provides a nurturing and supportive environment, with a therapeutic approach focused on helping pupils feel safe, build confidence and re-engage positively with education.
The school is looking to appoint an SEN English Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEN English Teacher will teach English across KS2-KS4, adapting lessons to meet individual needs while using a calm and consistent approach to support pupils with SEMH.
The successful SEN English Teacher will have:
QTS with a strong English teaching background
Experience teaching English across KS2-KS4
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
The ability to adapt teaching within a therapeutic and nurturing environment
A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
