Job Title: SEN Teacher
TeacherActive is proud to be working with an SEN provision in Tunbridge Wells that supports pupils with a range of additional needs. The provision is looking for a confident and adaptable SEN Teacher who can create a safe, supportive and positive learning environment.
The SEN provision is looking to take on an SEN Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis, supporting pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour. The successful SEN Teacher will be expected to lead classes, deliver engaging lessons and maintain a safe and structured learning environment.
The successful SEN Teacher will have:
• QTS or a relevant teaching qualification
• Experience working within SEN or a Primary teaching environment is desirable
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH
• Experience managing challenging behaviour
• Strong classroom management and the confidence to lead classes
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
