TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming SEND school in Morpeth that provides a supportive and nurturing environment for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is committed to creating a positive learning environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential through tailored support and strong relationships.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, working Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, and working closely with support staff to promote positive outcomes both academically and emotionally.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS or relevant UK teaching qualification
• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive education
