TeacherActive is proud to be working with an inclusive SEND school in Nottingham (NG8), who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. The school offers a nurturing environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their individual goals through personalised learning and specialist support.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work alongside teachers and therapists to support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, learning difficulties and communication needs. The school is looking for a proactive SEND Teaching Assistant who is resilient, adaptable and passionate about helping every child succeed.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children with SEND
• A positive, patient and resilient attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
