TeacherActive is proud to be working with a great SEN school based in Mansfield which supports pupils with a variety of additional needs. The school is looking for a caring and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support while helping pupils feel safe, confident and engaged.

The school is looking to take on an SEN Teaching Assistant on an ongoing basis, starting ASAP. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils with a variety of needs, work closely with teaching staff and provide patient, calm and nurturing support throughout the school day.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
• Experience working with pupils with a variety of additional needs
• A calm and patient approach
• A nurturing and supportive personality
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
