About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to provide support to young pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a temporary, long-term position with the possibility of permanency for the right candidate. The successful applicant will offer one-to-one support, demonstrating empathy, flexibility, and responsiveness to each pupil’s unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate pupils while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Listen attentively to pupils to understand and respond to their individual needs.
• Maintain resilience and apply tailored teaching strategies to support learning.
• Utilise your experience working with SEN pupils to provide targeted and effective support.
