Salary: £90 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a leading SEND school in Wolverhampton, who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This school caters to children with a variety of special needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. The school has an inclusive and nurturing environment, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis, as well as in small groups, helping them with academic tasks and social skills development. Your role will involve providing tailored support to children with additional needs, helping to create a positive and safe learning environment.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
• A calm, compassionate, and patient nature
• The ability to engage students with creative, hands-on activities
• A flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to the needs of the students
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable)
• A commitment to continuous professional development
