TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding OFSTED-rated mainstream primary school in Breedon on the Hill, which has a separate SEND hub for children from EYFS to Key Stage 1. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where pupils receive tailored support to help them engage with learning and reach their individual potential.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a one-year contract from September 2026, working five days per week from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support non-verbal children within the SEND hub, working closely with teachers and other support staff to encourage communication, emotional regulation, engagement and independence.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or relevant equivalent experience
• Experience supporting children with special educational needs
• Experience working with non-verbal pupils or children with communication needs
• A good understanding of the EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum
• The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive school team
• A patient, caring and resilient approach
