TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small mainstream primary school in Breedon on the Hill, consisting of three mixed-age classes alongside a dedicated SEN provision. The school offers a close-knit environment where staff work together to provide consistent and individualised support for children with additional needs.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work from 8:30am until 3:15pm on a long-term basis, starting ASAP and continuing until July 2027. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support non-verbal children across EYFS and Key Stage 1 / KS1, helping them access learning, communicate their needs and engage positively within the school environment.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children with special educational needs
• Experience working with non-verbal children
• Experience supporting EYFS and Key Stage 1 / KS1 pupils
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• A willingness to embrace a challenging but rewarding SEN Teaching Assistant role
