Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school in Swanley that supports children and young people with a range of complex learning needs, including PMLD and Autism / ASD. The school provides specialist support to help pupils engage with their learning and develop their independence.

The school is looking to take on a SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will provide 1-to-1 support, assist pupils with personal care and work closely with children with PMLD and ASD to support their learning, development and individual needs.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Experience working with PMLD and Autism / ASD
• Confidence providing personal care
• Experience delivering 1-to-1 support
• A patient and compassionate approach
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
