Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-resourced SEND school in Feltham for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11–19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist setting where you'll play a key role in helping students achieve their academic, social and personal goals within a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with ASD.
  • Support learning across a range of subjects and activities.
  • Help implement personalised learning and behaviour support plans.
  • Encourage communication, independence and positive social interaction.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other support staff.
  • Promote a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly Autism (ASD).
  • Is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting young people.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Is proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
