Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £95 - £115 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND setting in Stoke-on-Trent supporting pupils of mixed ages with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs. The setting provides a structured and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to build confidence, develop positive relationships and overcome barriers to learning.
The setting is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across different age groups, provide individual and classroom support and adapt their approach to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
Confidence working with pupils across different ages
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
The ability to remain calm and consistent in challenging situations
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
