Teaching Assistant
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £90 - £120 per day
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs?
Do you have experience working with pupils with a range of SEND needs across different ages?
Are you patient, resilient and adaptable, with the ability to provide consistent support to pupils with individual learning needs?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND setting in Stoke-on-Trent supporting pupils of mixed ages with a range of additional needs. The setting provides a supportive and structured learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and engagement with learning.
The setting is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across different age groups, providing individual and classroom support while adapting their approach to meet a range of mixed SEND needs.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
Confidence working across different ages and Key Stages
The ability to adapt support to meet individual pupil needs
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
