TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND provision in Bradford who are looking to appoint a SEND Inclusion Support Worker. The provision supports young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism / ASD, ADHD and physical disabilities, providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The provision is looking to take on a SEND Inclusion Support Worker for day-to-day or long-term work with an Immediate Start. The successful SEND Inclusion Support Worker will support students across KS3 and KS4, helping them access learning, develop their independence and engage positively with their education while providing support tailored to their individual needs.
The successful SEND Inclusion Support Worker will have:
- Experience supporting young people with SEND across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Experience supporting students with Autism / ASD and ADHD
- Experience supporting young people with physical disabilities
- Team Teach training, BSL or SEND and inclusion support training
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to support individual learning needs
