The school is looking to appoint a SEND Inclusion Teacher on a long-term temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent. The successful SEND Inclusion Teacher will lead the SEND Support Base, deliver engaging and adapted teaching including provision aligned to Key Stage 2 attainment levels, support Functional Skills and vocational pathways, and work closely with the SENCO, support staff, families and external agencies.

The successful SEND Inclusion Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching and supporting students with SEND in a mainstream primary or specialist setting
• Strong knowledge of adaptive teaching and inclusive classroom practice
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to lead, coach and direct support staff within the SEND Support Base
• A resilient, reflective approach with a commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development
