Salary: £92.63 - £100 per day

Do you hold both a Child and Adult DBS and have a passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school based in Mansfield, supporting students aged 16-25 with a variety of additional needs. The setting provides a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and life skills.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support across day-to-day, short-term and long-term bookings. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with students and staff to provide individual and group support, helping learners with a range of SEND to access their education and engage positively within the school environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A valid Child and Adult DBS, or be willing to obtain the appropriate checks
• Experience supporting children, young people or adults with SEND
• Confidence working with students aged 16-25 with a variety of additional needs
• A patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible and adaptable attitude
