TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Alternative Provision in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher. The setting supports mixed-age learners with a range of SEND needs and is committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment where every student is encouraged to succeed.
The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students with a variety of SEND needs, promoting positive behaviour and working closely with support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every learner.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
QTS
Experience teaching children and young people with SEND, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD and a range of additional needs
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive, patient and adaptable approach
