Salary: £145 - £160 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist school in Swindon that provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student is encouraged to thrive. Students are taught through a combination of small group learning and 1:1 support, with a strong focus on building confidence, independence and a genuine sense of belonging.

The school is looking to appoint a part-time SEND Teacher starting ASAP. The successful SEND Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to students with a range of additional needs, adapting learning to meet individual requirements while working closely with an experienced and dedicated staff team to support students' academic, social and emotional development.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Experience teaching children and young people with SEND, including Autism and associated learning needs

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A caring, patient and adaptable approach to teaching
