Job Title: SEN Teacher

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEN provision in Maidstone to recruit a dedicated SEN Teacher. The setting provides a supportive learning environment for pupils of a variety of ages and key stages, ensuring every child receives the personalised support they need to reach their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint an SEN Teacher on a long-term basis starting in September. The successful SEN Teacher will teach and support pupils with Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), ADHD and a range of complex needs, delivering engaging lessons while adapting learning to meet individual needs and promoting positive outcomes for every student.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching children and young people with Special Educational Needs
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, PMLD, ADHD and complex needs
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A patient, adaptable and nurturing approach
• A genuine passion for helping every child achieve their potential
