SEND Teacher Required – Merseyside

Are you a passionate and resilient SEND Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Merseyside?

We are urgently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teacher to provide cover on both a short and long term basis across my schools in Merseyside.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who thrives on building meaningful relationships with pupils and understands the importance of a nurturing, individualised approach to supporting children with additional needs.

About the Role

You will be working with pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism (ASC)

• ADHD

• Social, emotional and behavioural needs

• Challenging behaviours and difficulties with emotional regulation.

The successful teacher will play a key role in creating a safe, structured and supportive learning environment, using positive and proactive strategies to minimise triggers and prevent dysregulation.

What We're Looking For

We want a teacher who:

• Has previous experience working within a SEND setting.

• Is confident supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviours.

• Has a strong understanding of behaviour and emotional regulation.

• Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils on an individual basis.

• Is patient, empathetic, resilient and consistent.

• Understands that getting to know each child, their individual needs and potential triggers is key to a successful learning environment.

This role is all about relationships! We are looking for someone who can connect with pupils, understand their individual needs and use a nurturing, relationship-led approach to prevent dysregulation and help them thrive.
