Job Title: Site Manager

Salary: £35,570 - £41,177 per annum

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Birmingham academy that is committed to providing a safe, well-maintained and inspiring environment for its students and staff. The academy promotes a collaborative culture and is looking for a skilled Site Manager who can take ownership of the day-to-day management and continued development of the school site.
The academy is looking to appoint a Site Manager on a full-time, long-term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right Site Manager. The successful Site Manager will oversee security, Health & Safety compliance, building and grounds maintenance, external contractors and planned and reactive works, ensuring the academy remains safe, compliant and operational at all times.
The successful Site Manager will have:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification, with facilities management and/or management qualifications desirable
- Experience managing a facilities service, with experience in an education setting desirable
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, security management and Health & Safety requirements
- Experience managing contractors, budgets and planned and reactive maintenance
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to work additional or unsociable hours when required
