TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely secondary school just outside the city of Derby. The school offers a welcoming environment with friendly staff and students, creating a positive setting for both teaching and learning.

The school is looking to take on a Spanish Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from January 2027. The successful Spanish Teacher will be responsible for teaching GCSE Spanish, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour.

The successful Spanish Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Spanish or Modern Foreign Languages specialism
• Experience teaching Spanish at GCSE / Key Stage 4
• Strong knowledge of the GCSE Spanish curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
