Supply SEND Teaching Assistants – Mansfield

TeacherActive is recruiting Supply SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across SEND schools in Mansfield.
Whether you are looking to broaden your experience or find work that fits around your availability, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. You will support children with a range of additional needs, adapting your approach to help each pupil feel safe, included and ready to learn.
Your role will include:
Providing individual and small-group support.
Helping pupils access activities suited to their learning needs.
Supporting communication, social skills and independence.
Using positive behaviour strategies and supporting emotional regulation.
Working closely with teachers and support staff.
Assisting with personal care where required.
We are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants with:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
Confidence building relationships with pupils and staff.
An understanding of different learning and communication needs.
A relevant qualification or practical experience.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
