TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Worksop. This smaller school has lovely pupils and a warm, supportive team of staff, with a strong focus on understanding and meeting each pupil’s individual needs.

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with a flexible start date, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2 from Year 1 to Year 6. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside the class teacher to support lesson delivery, provide focused 1:1 support and help pupils remain engaged and make progress.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting pupils within a primary school setting
• Confidence working with children across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience providing 1:1 and small-group support
• The ability to work effectively alongside the class teacher
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, adaptable and positive approach
