TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming secondary school based in Maidstone, which is committed to ensuring all students are fully supported in reaching their full potential. The school provides an engaging curriculum that encourages creativity, builds confidence and inspires students to develop their skills and abilities.
The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Dance Teacher on a part-time basis, with an immediate start, to support with general cover requirements. The successful Dance Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining positive classroom behaviour and supporting students across the secondary age range, adapting to the needs of different classes where required.
The successful Dance Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS or relevant Dance qualifications
Experience teaching or delivering Dance sessions to secondary-aged students
Strong classroom management skills
The ability to deliver engaging lessons and adapt to different subjects when providing general cover
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
