The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher, support pupils during lessons, assist with classroom activities and help create a positive and productive learning environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience within a mainstream school setting is desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to support pupils with a range of learning activities
• A patient, positive and flexible approach
• A willingness to get involved and support the wider classroom environment
