Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Stockport
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £100 - £130 per day

Are you patient, adaptable and confident supporting students with their learning?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Stockport, which has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment, with a strong focus on helping students develop academically and personally.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis, supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside teaching staff to support students with their learning, encourage engagement in lessons and help maintain a positive classroom environment.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient and adaptable approach
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
