We're recruiting 1:1 ALN Teaching Assistants to support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in friendly primary schools across Pembrokeshire. This is a rewarding role where you'll help a child grow in confidence, overcome challenges and enjoy learning every day.

No two days are the same, but every day makes a difference.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work closely with one pupil, supporting them throughout the school day by:

• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive relationships.
• Adapting learning activities to meet their individual needs.
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
• Working alongside teachers and school staff to help every child achieve their potential.

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have Experience In...

You don't need to have worked in a school before.

Many of our successful Teaching Assistants have previously worked in:

• Care and support work
• Residential childcare
• Youth work
• Nursery or early years settings
• Healthcare
• Sports coaching
• Children's activity clubs
• Social care
• Community support roles
• Customer-facing roles where patience, empathy and communication are key

If you're calm under pressure, enjoy building relationships and genuinely want to support children, we'd love to hear from you.

Experience supporting children with ALN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH or communication needs, is highly desirable, but we also welcome candidates with transferable skills and the right attitude.
