TeacherActive is looking for caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in welcoming primary schools across Tenby and the surrounding area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help children build confidence, develop key skills and reach their full potential.
The Role
You'll provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Your role will include:
- Supporting pupils with their learning and development
- Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
- Working closely with teachers and support staff
- Adapting activities to meet individual learning needs
- Building positive relationships with pupils, families and school staff
We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or ALN Support Worker
- Experience supporting children with ALN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH or communication needs
- A patient, caring and positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
