Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £14.25 - £15.25 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large school in the Cardiff area that is looking to welcome a dedicated Teaching Assistant to its team. The school provides an inclusive and supportive learning environment for pupils of varying abilities and is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will be based within the school's ASD base, supporting pupils with Autism / ASD both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, encouraging engagement, independence and positive learning outcomes.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within an ASD base
Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD
A caring, patient and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional learning needs
