TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large and welcoming Primary School in Treorchy that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school has created a warm and supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to provide the highest standard of education, while maintaining a positive and inclusive culture for all pupils.

The school is looking to take on a full-time Teaching Assistant from September on a long-term basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil, helping them access learning, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes, while demonstrating initiative and adaptability within a busy Primary School setting.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a Primary School setting

• Proven experience providing 1:1 support to pupils

• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• The ability to work proactively and use initiative

• A positive, patient and adaptable approach
