Learning Support Assistant – Newton Abbot

TeacherActive is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work within a welcoming mainstream school in Newton Abbot from September.

Previous experience supporting children is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for education.

The successful LSA will:

  • Support pupils individually and in small groups
  • Assist the class teacher with lessons and activities
  • Help create an inclusive and engaging classroom
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Support children with a range of learning needs
  • Demonstrate patience, reliability and adaptability
