Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a number of primary schools throughout Leeds. We have opportunities supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, ranging from general classroom support to intervention and 1:1 roles.
Work is available on a flexible day-to-day basis as well as longer-term placements, with some schools looking to recruit permanently when they find the right member of staff.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
Have previous experience working with primary-aged children
Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Be confident supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy and phonics
Be comfortable delivering 1:1 and small-group support
Have good behaviour management skills
Be able to build positive relationships with pupils
Be reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
