The school has built a strong reputation for its caring ethos and works closely with families to ensure pupils receive the best possible support throughout their educational journey.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Level 2 Teaching Assistant from September on a long-term basis. The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with complex needs and will play a key role in supporting their learning, emotional wellbeing and daily development, using strategies that promote positive behaviour and engagement.

The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with children with Autism / ASD and complex needs
• Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour
• The ability to build positive relationships through a calm and consistent approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, patient and adaptable attitude
