Salary: £85 - £95 per day

Are you a firm, consistent and patient Teaching Assistant who can provide clear boundaries within a Nursery classroom?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Nursery class in Newport supporting children with mild Additional Learning Needs / ALN. The setting requires a confident and resilient Teaching Assistant who can create a positive environment while maintaining clear and consistent boundaries.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, temporary long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support children within the Nursery class, assisting with their learning, development and additional needs while working closely with the class teacher.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working within an Early Years / EY setting
• Experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs / ALN
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A firm and consistent approach to managing behaviour and boundaries
• Resilience, patience and confidence when supporting young children
• A positive and adaptable approach to working as part of a team
