Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding OFSTED-rated primary school in Worksop that supports pupils from Year 1 to Year 6. The school provides an inclusive and supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to help every child progress.

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 child management and targeted support, while also assisting the class teacher with full-class learning, engagement and behaviour management.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children within a primary school setting
• Experience providing 1:1 support to individual pupils
• Confidence supporting learning across a full class
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• The ability to work effectively alongside teachers and support staff
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
