Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £92.63 - £115 per day

Are you patient, enthusiastic and confident supporting children with their learning and development?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary School in Salford that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 class. The school is committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside the class teacher to support Year 1 pupils with their learning, classroom activities and individual needs, while helping to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children within a Primary School setting
• Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 1 / KS1, ideally Year 1
• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
