Are you a sports coach, PE graduate, youth worker or someone who enjoys working with young people?
TeacherActive is recruiting Sports-Minded Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Primary and Secondary schools across Pembrokeshire.
Whether you've coached football, rugby, cricket, gymnastics, dance, martial arts or worked with youth groups, your experience could make a real difference in the classroom.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll:
- Support pupils with learning and classroom activities
- Encourage confidence, teamwork and positive behaviour
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment
- Be a positive role model for young people
What We're Looking For
- Experience coaching or working with children and young people
- A positive, enthusiastic and reliable attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for helping young people succeed
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
