The school promotes strong pastoral support and values staff who can build positive relationships with students and contribute to the wider school community.

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support students both inside and outside the classroom, working closely with teaching staff to encourage engagement and positive behaviour, including supporting some students who can display challenging behaviour.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant is preferred
• Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
