TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming Primary Schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support on a flexible, day-to-day basis.

Whether you're looking for 1 day a week or 5, we have opportunities to suit your availability, with the potential for longer-term placements!

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Support teachers with classroom activities and daily learning.

• Work with pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required.

• Support children with additional learning needs, including SEND.

• Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and confidence.

• Adapt quickly to different school environments and routines.

• Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience supporting children in a Primary School setting.

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND (desirable).

• A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable attitude.

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

• A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
